Zakat: Its Importance and Its Rulings

Zakat is the third pillar of Islam, and it is obligatory for every adult sane Muslim who possesses wealth beyond their needs. It is a means of purifying wealth and increasing fortunes, and God Almighty has mandated it to achieve social justice.
