Challenges of preserving Islamic values in a secular society

Muslims live in many secular countries that separate religion from government, which poses a significant challenge in maintaining Islamic values in these communities. Secularism may contribute to diminishing the influence of religion in public affairs, leading to challenges in upholding Islamic morals in areas such as education, media, and work.
One of the main challenges is the social pressures that may be imposed on a Muslim to abandon some Islamic values in order to adapt to social requirements in society. For example, a Muslim may face pressure to refrain from practices such as praying in public places or adhering to the hijab in workplaces.
Islam guides Muslims to remain steadfast in their Islamic values, despite these challenges. Faith in God and a Muslim's commitment to the teachings of their religion can be a source of strength in facing these difficulties. Additionally, adhering to Islamic values in a secular society requires the ability to balance religious life with social and public life.
