Mental health is considered one of the important aspects of a Muslim's life, and Islam has encouraged attention to the mind and body. Islam provides various means to enhance psychological well-being, such as seeking forgiveness, prayer, supplication, and positive social interaction.
Allah says in the Holy Quran: “Indeed, with hardship [will be] ease” (Al-Inshirah: 6), which indicates that in every calamity or challenge, there is always an aspect of ease and comfort. Islam teaches the Muslim to find tranquility in their faith in Allah, and through reflection on the verses of the Holy Quran and the noble Hadith.
Furthermore, prayer is an effective way to cope with life's stresses. Through prayer, the Muslim finds spiritual comfort and connects with Allah, which enhances their sense of inner peace.
