Belief in angels in Islam

Belief in Angels is one of the pillars of faith in Islam, and it is essential for achieving the correct creed. Angels were created by Allah from light, and they do not disobey Allah in what He commands them and carry out what is entrusted to them as tasks. Many verses in the Holy Quran talk about angels and their roles, such as His saying: “Whatever is in the heavens and the earth glorifies Him, and He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise” (Al-Hadid: 1), and this verse indicates the greatness of angels in glorifying Allah and executing His commands.
The tasks of angels: bringing revelation to the prophets, recording the deeds of humans, and protecting the believers. Additionally, there are angels whose mission is to send the deceased to the realm of Barzakh, while others are assigned to protect humans from evils.
Belief in angels makes a Muslim more capable of understanding the cycle of life and death, and also helps to strengthen faith in divine decree and predestination.
