The role of the Quran in strengthening faith

24/12/2025

The Holy Quran is the primary source of faith in a Muslim's life, as reciting the Quran and understanding its meanings strengthens faith in God and drives Muslims toward piety. Allah, the Exalted, says in the Quran: “Indeed, this Quran guides to that which is most suitable.” (Al-Isra: 9), which clarifies that the Quran is a guide for the believers on the right path.

The Holy Quran enhances faith in God by reminding Muslims of Allah's greatness and attributes, directing them to obey Him, establish prayer, give zakat, and fulfill other obligations. The more a Muslim recites the Quran and reflects on its meanings, the more their knowledge of God and His Messenger increases, and the stronger their faith becomes.

Additionally, the Quran encourages belief in the Day of Judgment, explaining that this worldly life is merely a test for the Muslim, and that Paradise is the ultimate goal for the believers.
